Anyone who thinks in Pitztal you can only ski and snowboard was mistaken.
The Pitztal is a winter sports destination that you won't find everywhere.
We offer a 21 km long cross-country skiing trail or a high altitude trail at 2,740 m that will leave you breathless.
Take the Wildspitzbahn up to 3,440m and offer a breathtaking view of the Alps .
Kilometers of winter hiking trails next to the Pitze stream.
We are considered THE ice climbing paradise in Tyrol, with over 45 frozen waterfalls .
Touring enthusiasts cannot decide which ski tour to take first.
Freeriders can enjoy slopes with untouched slopes and the finest powder snow.
Several toboggan runs, ice rinks, snowshoe trails through ice-covered gorges ...
On our in-house ice rink already has
one or the other hot ice hockey game took place.

Opposite you will find two natural toboggan runs .
One of them is 2 km long and, in combination with a torchlight hike, is an unforgettable experience.
We'll provide you with double-seat sleds and torches

while sliding in the snow right behind the house.
Or how about a torch-lit hike on one of the many starry nights.
The beginning
to the Tallanglaufloipe and the winter hiking trail
is right across the street.
I find the way to our little pilgrimage church Bichele very dreamy.
The bus stop for all ski buses and bus lines is right next to the Gruppotel. I would be happy to reserve the ski bus for you to the desired ski area in order to guarantee transport as a group.
TheKirschner ski rental is located right in the village - has very good winter sports equipment in the rental and offers its own tariffs especially for group travel and youth travel.
We are happy to help with the organization of the ski passes and can also order and pick up the lift tickets. Long queues at the cash desk are no longer necessary and you can get your ski passes in peace
distributed to the group the day before.

CROSS-COUNTRY
The Gruppotel is 10 km from the Pitztal Glacier and Rifflsee and 18 km from the Hochzeiger ski station.
Group discounts are available from 21 people.

The Pitztal is a family-friendly ski area and offers not only the youth rate but also a Bambini free pass. Children under the age of 10 travel free when accompanied by a parent
The free ski bus takes you directly from the house to the desired ski area in a very uncomplicated way.
If the Pitztal is not enough for you in terms of kilometers of slopes,

Our cross-country skiers and skaters also get their money's worth.
The entrance to the cross-country ski run is right across from the Alte Post group hotel.
The idyllic Tallanglaufloipe runs alongside the stream for a total of 21 km. There are always their own cross-country trails in the various hamlets.
With us you pay no usage fee for the entire 108 kilometers of cross-country trails.
Since cross-country skiing and skating can be very exhausting, I'll tell you about my sightseeing tour:
You take the ski bus to Mittelberg (at the very end of the valley) and skate the 12 km along the valley path to the Gruppotel.
Going down is just less strenuous and you
sees so much more.
With the Pitztal Leisure Pass, cross-country skiers and pedestrians who do not have a ski pass can also use the buses for free.

We can only recommend specialists for planned high-alpine winter activities such as snowshoe hikes, ski tours, Taschachtal descent or deep snow days.
SLEDGING
Opposite you will find the 2 km long natural toboggan run.
You can get enough double-seat tobogganing for the whole group from us at the Gruppotel.
The toboggan run on the Hochzeiger is highly recommended.
You can easily take the gondola to the middle station and from there take the 6 km long toboggan run back to the valley station.
Night tobogganing takes place every Thursday from 7:30 p.m. to midnight.
